    Hi Joel,

I really wanted to chose only one favorite but I struggled to get it down to three.

    #8
“What we fear doing most is usually what we most need to do.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson – Selected Writings of Ralph Waldo Emerson

(this is very current to my personal life right now – guess I got to get on with it!)

    #13
“Don’t Take Anything Personally. Nothings others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.” – Don Miguel Ruiz – The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom

(I LOVE THIS. I needed reminding of this today. I shouldn’t care what others think. My Life – My Terms!)

    #20
“It is better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not.” – André Gide – Autumn Leaves

(I come across so many people who are victims of themselves and their situations. They refuse to take action and loved ones make excuses for their awful, inappropriate behavior)

Thanks for the quotes Joel. You’ve given me some great reading material for the next few months.

    Take care

    Naomi

All good except number 12. Esther & Jerry Hicks are well known fraudsters, charlatans and propagators of ingratiating platitudes in exchange for exorbitant fees. They should be shunned and ridiculed for the tricksters, fakesters and irresponsible illusionists taking advantage of the desperate and credulous, that they are.

James, I never knew that about the Hicks. Where’s that information from? Are you saying the Law of Attraction is fraudulent or the way the Hicks delivers it?

My favorite one lol – “We see men who have accumulated great fortunes, but we often recognize only their triumph, overlooking the temporary defeats which they had to surmount before “arriving.”

Like I really hate when people think other people succeeded mainly because of luck.. And they blame their luck for their misfortune. When most people succeeded through hard work, dedication and never quitting attitude. Great quotes Joel!

My favorite quote is from Marcus: “A man’s true delight is to do the things he was made for.”

This is really true that if you don the things you are made for, you are on the go to success path. The rest of the quotes are also superb :)
