3 Steps to Unleashing Your Superpower and Fulfilling Your Life Purpose

Kyle Cease was interviewed by Ed Mylett in a podcast and said, “I like to do things that are a WIN, WIN, WIN. Does it expand my soul, do I feel growth, am I raising the consciousness and growth of the planet? This is me in full purpose.” I love how he talks about choosing the Win, Win, Win aspect. The first win is am I doing what I fully love in life? The second win is does it help my fellow man? The third win is does it transform the world using my super power?

To be an entrepreneur is a gift to the world and to empower other people is so sweet, but to transform the world is the crème de le crème or the icing on the cake! How do I unleash my superpower for the greater good? Kobe Bryant is a great example. He is remembered for the words he spoke and for his Mamba Mentality. He lived and breathed it and spoke about it.

When you make a choice and say, ‘Come hell or high water, I am going to be this, then you should not be surprised when you are that. It should not be something that is intoxicating or out of character because you have seen this moment for so long that … when that moment comes, of course it is here because it has been here the whole time, because it has been [in your mind] the whole time.”

Our superpower stems from our mindset being fixed. Ever notice superheroes just never give up? What is different about your mindset and about the words you speak?  People will remember you for the vision you cast, the impact you create and the contribution you leave behind. People will also remember you for the words you spoke that inspired us in a moment we most needed it.

We all want to be remembered, don’t we? Transforming the world is an even greater gift. We all have the capacity to do it within ourselves. Sometimes we have to stretch our capacity first.

Transformation all begins in the mindset of the individual. It takes time and planning to cast a vision. If you never take the time to create it, you won’t have a legacy. You have to create the largest vision of your life. I am not just hear to survive, meet basic needs, but to thrive and dominate my industry. Think bigger, broader, more brilliantly. Just doing business is tunnel vision. You need to see wide and far to think globally how do you want to impact the planet?

Here are the 3 steps to step into the greatest you can be:

1. Sharpen your mind

Here is a little exercise you can try on for size. I completed the exercise myself and found it had a profound impact on me.  Allow yourself to sit in a room with movers and shakers and listen to their vision. Attend a local mastermind with entrepreneurs who are passionate about their causes. Whether it is ending poverty, providing water in Africa or who knows what the very passion in the room will stir up your thinking.

I loved to watch a powerful entrepreneur formulate her vision to end world hunger. When she recognized how big it was, she went after an even bigger solution. She said if we can’t get enough contributors then we will need to go after an endowment. She was solving her own problem of how to make it happen.

Entrepreneurs have a beautiful mindset of how to be a change agent. Now that is inspiring. Iron sharpens iron and practicing being present with powerful people will sharpen your own vision. When you cast a higher vision, you catch more fish. The world responds to business men and women who give back to the planet.

2. Reflect on your last day alive

This simply requires you to sit in a room all by yourself and be still. I like to call it the Three Most Keen Insights. You are going to project yourself forward to the last day of your life on Earth and reflect back. You will want to have a journal and a pen with you. Consider it is the last day of your life and you are being asked a question. The question is was your life a complete success?

If not, what are three things you wish you had done? These will be key in knowing what your deepest wishes are. Maybe you wish you took more risks or overcame a fear you have. Maybe you wish you used your talents more wisely and feel you could have stewarded them better. Maybe you wish you took better care of your health so you had the energy to impact the world.

Did you go all in with this precious gift of life you were given? Write down three insights and reflect over your life and your purpose. Why not? Think about this now so your whole life can be a fulfilling journey. Contributing to the world at a higher level is groundbreaking. What do you want to be remembered for?

“I advise you to say your dream is possible, to overcome all inconveniences, ignore all the hassles and to take a running leap through the hoop even if it is in flames.” – Les Brown

3. Master distraction

One of the biggest enemies to master is distraction. Life is full of distractions to completing the one thing you were put here to do. Make a list of your major distractions and consider how you will overcome them. Your contribution is so much more important than anything else.

One of the top keys to success is to realize what is blocking you or stopping you from fulfilling your lifelong vision. You must take all your energy and master yourself. You are the hero of your own story and right now this planet can use a few more superheroes. Live your life fully unleashed so you can say this is me UNLEASHED in FULL purpose!

9 Harsh Truths Every Young Man Must Face to Succeed in the Modern World

Before chasing success, every young man needs to face these 9 brutal realities shaping masculinity in the modern world.

Many young men today quietly battle depression, loneliness, and a sense of confusion about who they’re meant to be.

Some blame the lack of deep friendships or romantic relationships. Others feel lost in a digital world that often labels traditional masculinity as “toxic.”

But the truth is this: becoming a man in the modern age takes more than just surviving. It takes resilience, direction, and a willingness to grow even when no one’s watching.

Success doesn’t arrive by accident or luck. It’s built on discipline, sacrifice, and consistency.

Here are 9 harsh truths every young man should know if he wants to thrive, not just survive, in the digital age.

1. Never Use Your Illness as an Excuse

As Dr. Jordan B. Peterson often says, successful people don’t complain; they act.

Your illness, hardship, or struggle shouldn’t define your limits; it should define your motivation. Rest when you must, but always get back up and keep building your dreams. Motivation doesn’t appear magically. It comes after you take action.

Here are five key lessons I’ve learned from Dr. Peterson:

  • Learn to write clearly; clarity of thought makes you dangerous.

  • Read quality literature in your free time.

  • Nurture a strong relationship with your family.

  • Share your ideas publicly; your voice matters.

  • Become a “monster”, powerful, but disciplined enough to control it.

The best leaders and thinkers are grounded. They welcome criticism, adapt quickly, and keep moving forward no matter what.

2. You Can’t Please Everyone And That’s Okay

You don’t need a crowd of people to feel fulfilled. You need a few friends who genuinely accept you for who you are.

If your circle doesn’t bring out your best, it’s okay to walk away. Solitude can be a powerful teacher. It gives you space to understand what you truly want from life. Remember, successful men aren’t people-pleasers; they’re purpose-driven.

3. You Can Control the Process, Not the Outcome

Especially in creative work, writing, business, or content creation, you control effort, not results.

You might publish two articles a day, but you can’t dictate which one will go viral. Focus on mastery, not metrics. Many great writers toiled for years in obscurity before anyone noticed them. Rejection, criticism, and indifference are all part of the path.

The best creators focus on storytelling, not applause.

4. Rejection Is Never Personal

Rejection doesn’t mean you’re unworthy. It simply means your offer, idea, or timing didn’t align.

Every successful person has faced rejection repeatedly. What separates them is persistence and perspective. They see rejection as feedback, not failure. The faster you learn that truth, the faster you’ll grow.

5. Women Value Comfort and Security

Understanding women requires maturity and empathy.

Through books, lectures, and personal growth, I’ve learned that most women desire a man who is grounded, intelligent, confident, emotionally stable, and consistent. Some want humor, others intellect, but nearly all want to feel safe and supported.

Instead of chasing attention, work on self-improvement. Build competence and confidence, and the rest will follow naturally.

6. There’s No Such Thing as Failure, Only Lessons

A powerful lesson from Neuro-Linguistic Programming: failure only exists when you stop trying.

Every mistake brings data. Every setback builds wisdom. The most successful men aren’t fearless. They’ve simply learned to act despite fear.

Be proud of your scars. They’re proof you were brave enough to try.

7. Public Speaking Is an Art Form

Public speaking is one of the most valuable and underrated skills a man can master.

It’s not about perfection; it’s about connection. The best speakers tell stories, inspire confidence, and make people feel seen. They research deeply, speak honestly, and practice relentlessly.

If you can speak well, you can lead, sell, teach, and inspire. Start small, practice at work, in class, or even in front of a mirror, and watch your confidence skyrocket.

8. Teaching Is Leadership in Disguise

Great teachers are not just knowledgeable. They’re brave, compassionate, and disciplined.

Teaching forces you to articulate what you know, and in doing so, you master it at a deeper level. Whether you’re mentoring a peer, leading a team, or sharing insights online, teaching refines your purpose.

Lifelong learners become lifelong leaders.

9. Study Human Nature to Achieve Your Dreams

One of the toughest lessons to accept: most people are self-interested.

That’s not cynicism, it’s human nature. Understanding this helps you navigate relationships, business, and communication more effectively.

Everyone has a darker side, but successful people learn to channel theirs productively into discipline, creativity, and drive.

Psychology isn’t just theory; it’s a toolkit. Learn how people think, act, and decide, and you’ll know how to lead them, influence them, and even understand yourself better.

Final Thoughts

The digital age offers endless opportunities, but only to those who are willing to take responsibility, confront discomfort, and keep improving.

Becoming a man today means embracing the hard truths most avoid.

Because at the end of the day, success isn’t about luck. It’s about who you become when life tests you the most.
