6 Motivational Ways to Activate Your Beast Mode

Published

on

In a world that is moving fast, life is passing by whilst everyone is living in the moment. Those dream crippling moments will come where you wish you had prepared more properly, accomplished something, wanting to feel more accepted, perfect; intelligent, skilful and complete. The truth is you have to grind and hustle to make it where you want to be.

We have come to learn that there isn’t perfection but life will give you another meaning. Let’s put some drive into life. Prepare both mentally and physically to activate that inner power. Eventually limits will be broken by keeping at hand tools that will provide you with relentless form of energy in pursuit of your dreams. Welcome to beast mode.

Here are 6 ways to activate beast mode:

1. Stand tall and make your declaration

Seeing is believing, so make it reality by committing to your goals so that you won’t be going through life aimlessly. The majority of people do not do this and thus dreams become abandoned so always aim higher. The answer is simple, do what you love and believe you are worthy. Drop the false dreams. Evoke a spiritual journey by reminding yourself on why you started but also seeing how far you’ve come.

It will provoke you to tackle goal after goal and trigger achievement after achievement. This helps you build momentum and a clear drive so that you can become unstoppable. Once it’s written, make it happen. Unleash the shackles of doubts; stay hungry and go after what you want.  Wake up the beast.

“Both desire and imagination are stored in the mind of the individual and when stretched, both have the potential to position a person for greatness.” – Eric Thomas

2. A killer workout

A strong mind, body and soul will overcome anything. Diet and regular physical activity is important to maintain a balance between work and life. A major benefit of physical activity is to increase those energy levels, self- esteem and attitude, which can help everything else in life seem much easier. Whether it’s sport, lifting weights or running, build schedules and workout plans around your daily routine.

This will build confidence in channeling your inner beast and recognize your limits. Psych yourself up to give you a mental edge because it is a great sensation in ending the day like a champion. You’ll be left wanting more. Train the beast.

3. Energy boost with motivational videos

Watching motivational videos changed my life because they improved my outlook and mind-set; a positive one. I would make it spontaneous at first and then it became routine, morning, afternoon and evening. The messages would strike a chord within me and lift me up. I would take the messages and reflect on it and use it in my life.  Every step, decision and action would be driven by hunger and positive vibes. Feed the beast!

Check out my two favourite videos on YouTube:

1. It’s not over until you win! Your dream is possible: My favorite motivational speaker – Les Brown

2. Unbroken: The best I’ve seen. When we go through life we will suffer some sort of failure and when you are defeated it takes courage to go again.

4. Be adaptable to change

How will you cope with set-backs? Will you rise to the occasion? Flexible people tend to adapt and go with the flow, naturally being able to think of solutions to their problems, whilst rigid people just give up. Throughout life you will have been built on a behavioural script, taught certain things or ideas. This will result in you living on somebody else terms and not yours.

So step away from the average crowd. The willingness to get out of these models will enable you to adapt to new surroundings. Learn to survive because life sometimes hits hard and the lessons you take from them makes the difference between being successful and unsuccessful. Beast must learn to survive and rise.

5. Patiently hunt for the prey

Lions are well known to stalk their prey from cover to cover being phenomenally patient with a final burst of speed at the end. This personifies the desire, strength and power in pursuit of its goal. Likewise in life there are tremendous opportunities out there for you so be patient whilst the fire of desire burns inside you; strengthen yourself physically and mentally.  When the right moment arrives, eye it up and prepare for victory. Beast patiently waits.

“The two most powerful warriors are patience and time.” – Leo Tolstoy

6. Remind yourself of the legacy you want to leave

How do you want to be remembered in life? Many will talk about the hero you were, the one who never gave up. Show others the traits of a true warrior. Inspire others that your roar was as big as your dreams. Heads will turn to see an example of success. Beast must not only be the best for self but lead by example.

8 Ways to Stop Procrastinating and Be More Decisive

Stop Procrastinating

Tackling Procrastination and Indecisiveness

Hi, Joel Brown here. As the person behind Addicted to Success and Mind Strong, I’m often asked about tackling procrastination and making swift, effective decisions. It’s a common struggle in today’s world, where distractions are endless.

Procrastination often creeps in when we’re bombarded with social media notifications, breaking news, and the hustle of daily life. This leads to a fear-driven indecision, where we’re paralyzed by the thought of failure or judgment.

Here’s a video breakdown of how to stop procrastinating and be more decisive if you are more of a visual person:

Embracing Speed and Momentum to Stop Procrastination

One of the most impactful lessons in my journey is understanding the role of speed in overcoming procrastination. A mentor of mine, a highly successful individual, always emphasized:

“Success loves speed, and money loves momentum.”

This principle is crucial in combating procrastination. It’s about seizing opportunities quickly, not just for financial gain, but for the invaluable experiences and connections they bring.

Understanding Analysis Paralysis: A Key to Overcoming Procrastination

A major hurdle in decision-making is what’s commonly known as analysis paralysis, a significant form of procrastination. It happens when our decision-making process, governed by the prefrontal cortex, gets overwhelmed. To break free from this form of procrastination, try calming techniques like deep breathing. It’s surprising how such simple steps can clear a cluttered mind and help you move past procrastination.

The Long-Term Effects of Procrastination and Indecision

Procrastination isn’t just about putting off decisions; it can lead to a reduced sense of life satisfaction over time.

In a conversation I had with Tony Robbins, we discussed how the quality of our lives hinges on the quality of our decisions.

Therefore, overcoming procrastination and indecision is vital for a fulfilling life.

My Top Strategies for Beating Procrastination

  1. Seek Guidance from the Experienced: To combat procrastination, connect with people who’ve achieved the goals you’re aiming for. Their experience can be a guiding light when you’re stuck in indecision.
  2. Use Deadlines as Anti-Procrastination Tools: Setting deadlines is a powerful way to break the cycle of procrastination. They create a sense of urgency that pushes you into action.
  3. Accept Imperfection to Move Past Procrastination: Understand that no one is perfect, and that includes you. Accepting this can alleviate the pressure that often leads to procrastination.

Identify Your Procrastination Type to Find Solutions

Procrastination manifests in various forms. I’ve developed a quiz (find it at mindstrongacademy.com/quiz) to help you identify your specific type of procrastination. Understanding your personal procrastination style is a crucial step in addressing it effectively.

Additional Tips on Making Quality Decisions and Beating Procrastination

When it comes to decision-making, it’s important to not get too bogged down in analyzing pros and cons. While analysis is important, excessive scrutiny can lead to procrastination. Trusting your intuition often plays a crucial role in breaking free from procrastination.

Handling Major Life Choices Without Procrastination

For significant decisions in life, whether in your career or personal relationships, procrastination can be particularly challenging.

To address this, break down these big decisions into smaller steps. Assess the potential outcomes realistically to understand that often, the fear of a negative outcome is more intimidating than the actual consequences.

Conclusion: Your Journey Away from Procrastination Begins Now

To wrap up, remember that overcoming procrastination and indecision is about understanding your own patterns, seeking wise counsel, setting deadlines, and embracing your imperfections. It’s time to start making those impactful decisions and enjoying the journey of life.

Whether it’s through the Mind Strong Academy or my procrastination quiz, I’m here to guide you on your path to decisive action.

I believe in your ability to conquer procrastination and live a life of purposeful decisions.
