That’s what capitalism is my poor friend… making more and more money. They never have enough and the money “wasted” run the economy.

Why are they getting paid this much???? I only ever heard of Pauly D (never watched that stupid show) but know his name. Didn’t know he was a dj. It’s like the sports guys getting paid millions. Spread the wealth a’holes. That’s too much money to be making for one person who isn’t even busting their ass.

Wait, they should “spread the wealth” meaning give you some of the money they earn? Why? What did you do for it? NOTHING! Why don’t you get off your ass and make your own money!
Do Your Research

Classic case of complete ignorance from someone who knows nothing about this industry.
Pauly D can hardly be called a DJ … he rides fame from Jersey Shore and is absolutely terrible behind the decks so the fact that you stated he is the only one you recognize is an eye gouger in itself.
Most of these DJs have been working their asses off for DECADES to get to the point they are at now. Tiesto for example has been doing this for over 20 years. He is in his 40s and in 2011 alone he performed over 200 shows (and similar in 2012/13). He broadcasts a weekly podcast show and even has his own Sirius Satellite station WHILE producing music, AND started his own fashion line with Guess.
Too much money for one person who doesn’t even bust their ass? Do you’re research before you post intolerant whining about your self proclaimed entitlements.

Hey you guys are right…. I have no idea what they do exactly. What I do know is that regular people subscribe to “this and that” and make others wealthy. I, in fact, do work hard for a living and I save, save, save my ass off. I don’t spend a dime on unnecessary items or frivolous things. I am grateful for the little things and enjoy what is right in front of me. There are so many others though, that are living in poverty, not b/c of sitting on their ass, maybe some, but not all. Take for example Mark Cuban… sure he has earned his money and he helps other entrepreneurs, etc. etc. but to spend $41million on a G5, WHY? There are people who are getting foreclosed on b/c of this economy and their homes are a speck of dust compared to how the people at the top live. We are making these people rich. I hope that anyone with this amount of money will remain humble and remember where they came from and be grateful for fresh air, warm towels, a beautiful rose in bloom, a dog licking their face, a ride on their bicycle on a sunny day, a warm breeze at the beach, etc etc. Those things are priceless.

Although you may think buying a jet is a waste of money, for some people it makes a lot of sense. A CEO’s time may be worth millions to their company, and if they travel all over the world then that’s a ton of time wasted in airports. Hopping on a private jet is very time efficient. For someone like Cuban, it may pay for itself many times over.
And yes, wealthy people should remember the people that made them rich in the first place. If anything, they’ll be happier by giving than they will by wasting money on purely material possessions.
