Simon Sinek’s Advice On Achieving The Ultimate Success

Last night I was fortunate enough to have a half an hour discussion with one of my favourite leadership coaches Simon Sinek on what it means to be a truly successful leader.
Simon is a “one of a kind” leader that oozes awesome and very insightful advice on what it takes to be a successful individual in this world by leading with your heart.
You may have seen Simon Sinek’s very interesting and super viral TED Talk, “How Great Leaders Inspire Action”. Now, through this interview, you will have the chance to get to know a little bit more about the mad genius himself and what makes him tick.
If you haven’t already, make sure you get your hands on both of his books: “Start With Why” and “Leaders Eat Last”, they are two must have reads in any serious entrepreneurs library.

Great interview. Short sweet and to the point. I am a huge fan of the Ted Talk “How Great Leaders Inspire Action” and recently I caught an episode of Reinvention Radio that had an interview with Simon Sinek and Steve Olsher. I was moved more by the backstory that Simon was just going around speaking and speaking for almost 3 years before being offered the book deal and coincidentally offered the Ted Talk spot around the same time.
I am moved by what he says and it had changed my life when I first heard the signature speech but the more that I hear him in different interviews the more I am moved to find more of them. I will watch your “How To Lead The Way To Success” next. And, if you talk to Simon, please tell him that I would love to have him on my show as a guest for BetterMarketingMondays. I just purchased Leaders Eat last the other day. I look forward to reading it. Simon’s 99U talk was great.

I disagree with the concept that we only have one “Why” in our life. Some people have a professional career that is very important to them. For example, they are a social worker for example because they are motivated to help people who are struggling with addiction or HIV. At some point maybe their life is changed — for example by having children. Raising their children becomes the most important thing in their life. This is just one example, but other life changing events can change people’s why.
