    Hi Joel,

What a great video. Farrah seems really relaxed, humble and very confident when he talks.

He spoke a lot of truth. I really respect people in his position that still choose to give back. And I love the teacher story, she deserved to be named a shamed! Hopefully she learned something that day!

I have Mr. Farrah Gray’s book in my room, and he really is an inspiration. Alot of times we think as entrepreneurs we need to do a big disruptive idea or make millions right away, and this is a great thing if it happens; but making success happen in small increments helps to leverage our goals.

I had an amazing opportunity to meet Farrah and walk him up to receive an award from the Network Journal Publication (40 under Forty) a couple of years ago. I should have asked more questions and spoken with him personally! It was a missed opportunity, especially with my being in such close proximity. But hopefully I will get another opportunity to meet and speak with him.

Great interview, Joel! I’m a huge fan of Farah Gray’s work and he’s been one of my biggest inspirations since the day I first read about him.

But I really must admit that the sound quality is very low. What type of recorder do you use?

I’m a big fan of Farrah Gray. I once saw a video of him in which he told the story of how when he was a small child living in the projects he went door-to-door to selling rocks to his neighbors. Hilarious but impressive. This man has been incredibly determined to succeed since his early years and he has without a doubt inspired thousands of people with his success.

“It’s been 2 years since I left writing, how would I start it again?” I cried to my friend. Telling him how I failed to generate regular income from sources other than writing, and how I am drowning in 1 million dollars of debt. I left writing because I felt it was the core reason for my depression, but I was totally wrong. It was not the writing that triggered my stress hormones, the real culprit was not knowing “how to write and grow”. (more…)

how to conquer your fears

I remember the day in vivid detail. I was on a weekend trip visiting my girlfriend at the time in Arizona. She had decided that we should join her friends to go “cliff jumping.”  We were early on in our dating and she obviously had no idea that I was not fond of heights. So “cliffs” and jumping off of them… No thanks! (more…)
