The Top 10 Fitness Gadgets & Apps To Motivate A Massive Change In You

You think about getting fit often, but sometimes relaxing on the couch while channel surfing just sounds like a better option. Let’s face it; getting in shape can be a huge difficulty no matter how much weight you want to lose! Although you may have had trouble getting motivated in the past, it doesn’t have to be that way any longer.
There are now fitness gadgets and apps that can motivate you to make a positive change and stick with it, and here are the top options listed below:
The Top 10 Fitness Accessories & Apps
1. MyFitnessPal – Buy Now
This fitness app is free of charge and can make a huge impact with the way you get into shape. The first thing it does is keep a diary of what you eat. It tracks calories, carbohydrates, protein and other nutrient facts about foods, based on those that you eat. You can either type in the calories and foods, but you can also scan it with the barcode scanner in the app.
The next thing the app does is track your exercise, either by you typing in calories burned or the exercise that you did. It will even recommend the net calories you should eat based on your height, weight, activity level and how much weight you want to lose. MyFitnessPal makes it easy to stay accountable for what you eat, how much you exercise and how much weight you lose each week, which can mean losing more and staying on track.
2. Nike FuelBand – Buy Now
Do you wonder how active you really are during the day? Well this band uses special technology to measure how much movement you make throughout the day. You can set goals, track your progress and even connect this to your social media websites to get your other friends motivated as well. From dancing to going for a run, this fitness accessory will track all of the calories that you burn throughout the track so you can stay aware of your activity level and calories in compared to calories out.
3. Fitbit Aria – Buy Now
If you keep track of your weight, but are constantly forgetting it, then this scale is for you. It actually connects to the WiFi inside of your home so you can track your weight through your Fitbit account. It shows on the scale as well, so you will immediately see what your progress is at.
This special scale even tracks your fat percentage by using pulses sent through the surface of it.
4. Bose Sie2i Sport Headphones – Buy Now
These are popular headphones because they are water resistant and they stay inside of your ears, even while you’re moving around. An added bonus is that they also have great sound quality, so your music will be fully heard when you’re exercising.

10 Remarkable Lessons From an Unconventional School Teacher

I use MyFitnessPal, Fitbit Zip and Fitbit Aria. It’s the perfect combination for me to measure energy intake (food logs in MyFitnessPal), energy expenditure (steps walked with Fitbit Zip), and results (weight with Fitbit Aria). Plus they all sync together.
I log everything I eat, but it’s so simple that it’s not a choir; it just part of my routine. I don’t even feel like I’m dieting, but I’ve become more accountable for what I eat, so tend to go for healthier options or smaller portions almost subconsciously. I have a step goal of 10000 steps a day, and walking around my classroom and school (I’m a teacher), and walking my dog are generally enough to get me over the line.
I’ve lost over 10kg since July without too much thought really. I’ve lost weight before, and kept most of it off, but it’s been a challenge in the past. 7 years ago I did the Tony Ferguson diet and lost 30kg in 5 months. There have been a few ups and downs of maybe 5-12kg since then, but my current method is easier to maintain because it’s just so simple; I have no reason to stop. Once I reach a weight I’m happy and healthy at, I can just adjust the settings of the apps and keep on using them.
27/m. 182cm. Was 122kg, now 84kg.
