5 Tips To Sow The Seed Of Desire Within Yourself

The journey of life is amazing. The one who gets success is always praised by saying that he is lucky and the one who faces failures in life and is disappointed is considered to be unlucky in life.

This is all we can know about both. But do you ever wonder the reason why that successful person reached the top of the ladder of success and why the other one is still disappointed because of failure and always remains to be. The reason behind both of them is a single world “DESIRE“.

Have you ever tried to search out what this desire is all about? How it is developed and how it functions? Well, today I am going to enrich you all with this knowledge.

Desire can be termed as an inner power that makes us do whatever is possible in this world to fulfill the aim. Actually most of the time we misinterpret our needs with desire. So, lets find out the different things you can adopt in your daily life to sow the seed of desire and achieve whatever you want in your life.

“The starting point of all achievement is desire.” – Napoleon Hill

1. Think positive

Most people focus on what bad can happen with them instead of getting concerned about what the positive aspect is. Every task/activity has two results: positive results or negative results. So in any case, just focus on what’s positive in the experience and how it can be utilized for a better tomorrow.

This is not a one day task. So, you need to maintain patience and need to mold your mind such that it always takes into consideration only the positive aspect of the happenings. As soon as you make this activity a habit, you will start visualizing positive results from yourself.

2. Exercise daily

A healthy mind nourishes a healthy body which results in strong willpower to conquer the world. So, always
supplement your daily routine with at-least half an hour of Yoga or physical exercise which keeps your mind healthy and active all day.

If you are within an age group of 40 plus or somehow you are not able to add physical exercise within your daily routine, then it is advised to replace the physical exercise with yoga which includes pranayam, meditation, etc. However, yoga and meditation can do amazing things for all age groups.

3. Work on small victories

Keep this point in mind that small victories lead to bigger ones. So set your milestones at small
distance. The formula is that with every small success, you will get more energy in reaching a milestone and with that energy, you can move-on to another and then another and so on. At last success will be yours.

Actually this is human psychology that when human beings set bigger milestones, and work hard to achieve them, they start finding it difficult to go through the tough times. In the case of setting small milestones, they tend to set a mentality that pushes them through to complete this milestone as soon as possible. With that energy and charm on their faces, the milestone is completed successfully which in return energizes them even more and ignites them to work even more harder to reach the second milestone.

4. Always be inspired

You can go through any source of media, every successful person has an inspirational person within their life. So from that we draw this point that we all must have a role model or mentor that you can emulate. Your idol can always inspire you to work hard and achieve the desired goal. Mahatma Gandhi, Swami Vivekananda, Rabindranath Tagore, Nelson Mandela are a few of the inspirational role models which can be selected. It’s up to you to choose your role model based on the field you want to succeed into.

“Desire! That’s the one secret of every man’s career. Not education. Not being born with hidden talents. Desire.” – Bobby Unser

5. Repeat success mantras

Do you know that if you repeat a dialogue continuously throughout a single day, the next day you will find that you are getting personality somewhat similar related to that dialogue. Science has proved that if you repeat a line for a whole day, your mind and heart takes it into consideration and starts acting on those words.

So I suggest you to repeat a simple mantra for nearly 30-40 times in a day. It will drastically change the way you see your life and will start acting accordingly. The mantra is “Yes I can Do It. I have the WILLPOWER to achieve my GOAL.”

With these simple steps, you can makeover your mind and change it to a machine which is ready to face any sort of failure and achieve the goal.

So, Finally are you ready to conquer this world?

Warren Buffett once said, the best investment you can ever make is in yourself. Time and money spent on bettering yourself are never considered a waste. Whether it’s through learning how to make money online, exploring new ways to increase your financial security, or watching TED talks to expand your knowledge. Do not be stingy when it comes to self-improvement because it will definitely pay off in the end.

Need some ideas to get started on your journey to becoming a better you? Here are 5 ways to invest in yourself and transform your life.

1. Change Your Self-Concept

Having a negative self-concept can have a tremendous impact on your life. Limiting beliefs and self-doubt are some of the main reasons why many never achieve or attempt to pursue their dreams. Take a moment and think about all the negative thoughts you have repeated to yourself throughout your life. How have these thoughts impacted the way you live life? From now on, create a new self-image by turning these negative thoughts into positive ones and appreciate your good qualities.

2. Sign Up For An Online Course

If you’ve been wanting to brush up on your Photoshop skills or learn how to code professionally, this is the perfect time to get started. As long as you have a stable internet connection, you can access an endless amount of valuable information online. For example, sites like Coursera and Youtube are both awesome resources for online learning. With a few search strings and clicks, you can find all the information you need.

“Investing in yourself is the best investment you can make. It will not only improve your life, it will improve the lives of all those around you.” – Robin Sharma

3. Learn From a Mentor

No matter which stage of your life you are currently in, working with a mentor can help you stay motivated and focused on your goals. Not only can they guide you in the right direction, but also transform your vision, provide you with new insights, and connect you with amazing resources. If you’re feeling unmotivated or unsure about what you want to do in life, consider finding a mentor to help you navigate this process.

4. Start A Side Hustle

The salary from a 9-5 job would rarely allow you to reach your maximum income potential. Why not achieve financial success while pursuing your passion by starting a side hustle? Whether it’s through starting an ecommerce business, freelance writing on the side, or starting a Youtube channel. There are infinite numbers of ways to make money, and there is bound to be one out there that fits your passion and skills.

5. Nourish Your Body

As many may say, “health is the new wealth”. Without a healthy and functioning body, living a fulfilling and comfortable life becomes difficult. To take care of your body and prioritize your wellbeing, start with small habits such as eating healthier foods and exercising regularly. Bike or walk to work instead of taking the car, and opt for a healthy protein bowl instead of greasy burgers at Burger King. With time, these small habits can make an incredible difference.
