“Stop being patient and start asking yourself, ‘how do I accomplish my 10 year plan in 6 months?’ You will probably fail but you will be a lot further ahead of the person who simply accepted it was going to take 10 years.”

Musk was right. You don’t have to play it safe and be like everyone else. What if you could achieve your goals in just 90 days? What if you could change your life in just 90 days? Are you going to do it?

Well, in this article, I’m going to share with you 5 ultimate steps on how you can achieve your goals in just 90 days…

1. Focus on just ONE goal

If you want to create amazing results and create breakthroughs in just 90 days, you cannot afford to scatter your energy and focus. You must focus on just ONE goal.

The key is to concentrate your energy, time, and effort on working on the one goal that will make the most impact on your life.

Hence, the first step you should do is to ask yourself, “What is the one goal that if I achieved, everything in my life will change?”

And your mission then is to focus monomaniacally on accomplishing this one goal in just 90 days.

That’s right, just one goal. Not two or three.

Think about it, one completed project has a more powerful impact on your life than 10 uncompleted projects, isn’t it?

If you want to build an internet business, you don’t have to start with 10 websites or 10 ideas. You just need to focus on one. Create one website, and focus on building and growing it.

The same goes for writing a book. You don’t have to start with writing 5 books. Just focus on getting one book done. A completed book has the power to change lives more than 5 half-done books.

So, what is the one goal that you want to achieve that will greatly improve your life?

2. Compress your goals into 90 days

Next, you want to compress your goals into just 90 days. It doesn’t matter if it is a yearly goal or a 3-year goal, the key is to make it in just 90 days.

That’s right, 90 days. It is going to be challenging, but it will be fun and well worth it.

Instead of setting a yearly goal to build a YouTube channel with 10,000 subscribers, aim to do it in 90 days.

Rather than writing a book in a year, get it done in 90 days.

You see, one of the most common reasons people fail to achieve their goals is that they give themselves too much time and flexibility for the goal.

Don’t set a yearly goal. Set a 90 day goal. Why? Because too many things can happen in a year. It is difficult to predict and plan for what will happen a year from now than 3 months from now.

Plus, when a goal is too far away, it lacks urgency.

Think about it, if you want to get back in shape and you have one whole year to do it, what will you do? You procrastinate.

If you miss your milestone for January, you will tell yourself it is okay because there are still 11 more months to go.

And this is why 90% of people who set New Year’s resolutions fail to accomplish them. This is why annual goals or annualize thinking is unproductive.

Therefore, compress your goal and commit to achieving it in just 90 days.

3. Take action first thing in the morning

Next, you want to take massive action first thing in the morning. You want to make it your ultimate mission to work on the goal the first thing upon waking up.

Why? The reason is simple – if it has to happen, it has to be the first thing in the morning.

As you progress into the day, there will be a lot of distractions. Your kids will interrupt you. Your colleagues will call you. Your friends will buzz on social media. There are emails you need to reply to. You will feel hungry and exhausted.

This is why Robin Sharma, the best-selling author of The 5 AM Club suggests his readers get up at 5 AM to work on their most important goals.

You are fresh early in the morning. There are no distractions and the rest of the world is still sleeping. And this is the best time to work on your most important goal. And this will give you an unfair advantage over others.

Do you know that extraordinary people like Kobe Bryant got up at 5 AM to train in the gym? Apple CEO Tim Cook was reported to wake up at 3:45 every morning to work. And Xerox CEO Ursula Burns rises at 5:15 to exercise and reply to emails.

Thus, get up early to work on your magnum opus.

4. Commit to at least 90 minutes of action every day

Successful people are successful because they are willing to do what most people are not willing to do. If you want to achieve your goal, you must commit to taking action, every day.

Both successful and unsuccessful people have goals and dreams. What separates them then is not goals or dreams or aspirations, but action. Successful people are action-takers.

Unsuccessful people, on the other hand, only dream about what they want, but they don’t take action.

So, commit to taking at least 90 minutes of action to make progress toward your goal every morning. If you don’t have time or you think you are too busy, then wake up early to do it.

Challenge yourself to get up at 5 AM for the next 90 days, and then work on your goal for at least 90 minutes every day.

If you can do this for just 90 days, trust me, you will make so much progress and your life will never be the same again after 3 months.

5. Track, measure, and pivot

And finally, you must track and measure your progress, and most importantly, you must pivot according to the feedback.

In other words, you must measure your success every week and then adjust according to the feedback you receive.

There will be problems, and obstacles, and you will make mistakes. And this is why you must track your progress to know what is working and what is not. Change what is not working, improve your strategy, and do more of what is working.

That’s how success is created. Success is created by design, not by accidents.
