5 Amazing Miracles That Come From Goosebump Moments
I am sure all of you have felt that sensation that you get when you listen to a song that gives you the chills, see a performance that raises the hairs on the back of your neck or get goosebumps all over your body when you experience something that greatly inspires you.
This experience has many meanings, and I believe it can be one of the most important events in your life if you understand what it means and how to use it.
There are many different words to describe it from hair-raising to getting the chills, to a tingle sensation and even being referred to as a skin orgasm. I think goosebumps is probably the best way to describe it when adrenalin and blood flow all through you. You feel a sense of euphoria all over your body and like you can do absolutely anything.
For you to be able to experience massive success, you need to be able to put yourself in positive states of mind where you can find inspiration, and this is one of them. Often these states can be described as when you’re in FLOW.
In states like this you are capable of thinking and feeling at a much higher level, which will assist you to come up with ideas that would normally not be possible in your usual state of mind.
I had this sensation the other day and wanted to share with you the five amazing miracles that can come from this very important event.
1. You’re totally inspired and feel like you can change the world
During the brief moment that you experience these goosebumps, you feel like you can change the world. You start to feel like you could be the next Nelson Mandela, Muhammad Ali, Elon Musk or Arnold Schwarzenegger. The great benefits of this spine-tingling moment are that for a brief time you get to experience what everyday must be like for these people. They get to go out and inspire whole countries through their stories and believing in what is really possible if we just put our minds to it.
I often find that when I experience goosebumps or the hairs on the back of my neck standing up I want to share the experience with other people and think to myself ways in which I can achieve this. Maybe it’s through a blog article, or a speech, or in the old days, a song that I would write.
In the end, we all just want to be noticed and appreciated for what we do. Deep down, we all just want to inspire someone to do what they love doing, and this is the foundation of all success.
2. You reflect on how great life can be
At this moment, you think back to all the things that make life feel phenomenal. A lot of us don’t do this enough but this simple experience of the good kind of goosebumps can make you think about it involuntarily. There are so many things that we get to do, and we often don’t spend enough time and reflect on just how wonderful our lives can be if we let go. When I have my goosebump moment, I often find myself thinking of blue skies and the sunshine and wondering why I don’t spend more time in this state.
3. You feel fearless
In these moments when a situation gives you the good kind of goosebumps, you feel absolutely fearless like you can conquer almost any challenge. Wouldn’t this be the sort of feeling you want to face every day with? I know I certainly do, and that’s why I love these brief moments so much.
Fear is something that holds people back every day, and it can be one of the hardest things to overcome. If you look at every situation that happens in your life, there are very few where you can become fearless and do anything. A goosebump moment is one of those rare miracles where at that point in time you can overcome almost anything.
Most of our life, we spend our time trying to catch different feelings and many of those we associate with money. Feelings of fearlessness can’t be purchased, and only you can manifest them when you expose yourself to certain situations that trigger them.
“ You don’t buy yourself a shiny new Lamborghini because you love the texture of metal against your skin or because leather seats turn you on, you buy one because of the feeling you get by driving it. What if you could get this same feeling without having to spend hundreds of thousand’s of dollars? “
4. You’re doing something you love
I find that when I get the good kind of good bumps I am doing something that I love. The goosebumps can often be a signal from the universe to do more of this activity. The types of experiences that give me these feelings are things that I love like listening to amazing music, seeing an amazing view for the first time, listening to a motivational speaker, writing a blog article or watching an inspiring documentary like “Fat, Sick And Nearly Dead.”
It’s in these moments that I am reminded what I love and why I love doing it. For me, the why is all based around inspiring others to live the best version of themselves but for you it might be something totally different. These goosebump moments though will help you to have more clarity as long as you become consciously aware of them and get the message they are trying to give you.
If you want to accelerate the effects of these goosebump moments, then try writing a list of all the ones you have had in the last year so that you can recreate them at any time you want.
5. You feel extremely passionate
Goosebump moments often remind you that you are really passionate about this event or story that you are witnessing. Sometimes it’s hard to know what you’re passionate about, but just think back to all the things that give you goosebumps and inspire you. Chances are there is something in these situations that can help you find your passion.
Finding your true passion and deciding to follow it no matter what is one of life’s hardest decisions. Often it’s because you know you’re partly passionate about it, but not sure if you are 100% committed to it. Use these goosebump moments to ask yourself that question and see if you would like to live the rest of your life in this state of euphoria.
**Final Thought – What triggered this article?
I recently had a goosebump moment when I watched the music video for the first time by Major Lazer and Dj Snake called “Lean On.” I had heard the song before but had never seen the video. I had goosebumps all over, the hair on the back of my neck raised and I felt euphoric.
I think my reaction was a combination of seeing two different cultures acting as one, along with amazing visual landscapes that made me forget everything I was thinking about at that moment. If you had asked me whether a video and song like this would do that to me, I would have laughed and said no way.
Clearly I was wrong, and obviously everyone else agrees because the Youtube video has now had more than 125 million views.
Have I inspired you? Have I made you want more and want to experience euphoria more often? Do you think you could truly change the world from this state?
